JANE LEW, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Lewis County man was arrested Thursday after deputies responded to an active domestic dispute at a residence in Jane Lew.
According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a home on Mayre Street on June 11, 2026, regarding a domestic disturbance.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Nathan Foster, who reportedly told officers the incident was only a verbal altercation and claimed his girlfriend, identified as Ashly Esquer, was “acting crazy.”
However, deputies observed Esquer with visible injuries, including bleeding from her eye and mouth. While investigating the residence, officers reportedly found multiple holes in the walls and a blood spot on the bedroom floor.
