COOL RIDGE, WV (LOOTPRESS) — LifeSpring Church is inviting the public to celebrate West Virginia Day with food, fun, and purpose at the WV Day Pepperoni Roll Cook-Off, set for Saturday, June 21, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 136 Derek Lane in Cool Ridge.
The family-friendly event will feature up to 10 pepperoni roll contestants, with attendees sampling and voting for their favorite. In addition to the culinary competition, guests can enjoy live local music, vendors, a bounce house, outdoor games, cotton candy, and more.
While the event celebrates a West Virginia staple, it also supports a greater cause. All proceeds from the cook-off will go directly to the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists (WVCSB) Disaster Relief, aiding ongoing recovery efforts in flood-impacted counties including Mingo, McDowell, Mercer, and active service areas like Mineral County.
With over 12,000 volunteer hours already contributed to disaster recovery across the state, the event aims to help continue rebuilding and restoring hope in affected communities.
