MONROE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A longtime member of the Peterstown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad has passed away.
Danny McMillion, a Peterstown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad member for over 45 years has passed away due to an illness. A Facebook post made by the fire department says McMillion passed away at Roanoke Memorial Hospital after becoming ill on April 2nd while on the scene of an MVA and was later transported to a local ER, then transferred to Roanoke.
At this time, funeral arrangements have not been announced.
Multiple people have expressed their condolences online and posted their memories of Danny over the years.
