PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Princeton’s Community Improvement Commission (CIC) is inviting local businesses to participate in the fifth annual “Make It Sparkle, Princeton!” contest, which awards cash prizes to businesses that decorate their storefronts for the holidays.
Any business with a brick-and-mortar location within city limits is eligible to enter.
To register, businesses must email or text “Make It Sparkle” along with their business name, address, and a high-quality photo of their decorated storefront to c.mabe@princetonwv.gov or 304-920-5796.
Registration closes December 18 at midnight, and judging will take place on December 19, 2025.
Participants may choose any winter holiday theme.
Judging will be based on execution, creativity, theme, and overall attractiveness. In addition, a People’s Choice award will go to the storefront photo receiving the most “likes” on the City of Princeton Facebook page.
Contestants are encouraged to register early to maximize their exposure on social media.
Cash prizes will be awarded as follows: $500 for first place, $250 for second, $100 for third, and $150 for the People’s Choice award.
Winners will be announced on December 20 at 1:00 p.m., with prizes presented to business owners or their representatives shortly thereafter.
Judges for the contest are independently selected by the Princeton CIC.
