BEAVER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman and her brother were left shaken after an alleged attempted break-in at their home in Beaver during the early morning hours of July 19, 2025.
According to law enforcement, deputies were dispatched to the residence after the caller reported that Thomas Wayne Wilson attempted to kick in their front door before fleeing on foot toward Blue Jay Drive. Deputies searched the area but were unable to locate Wilson.
At the scene, the victim and her brother recounted waking up to a loud bang at the front door. The brother told deputies he looked out the window and saw Wilson standing outside, reportedly pointing something in his direction before taking off.
Deputies noted a visible mark on the door, supporting the account of an attempted forced entry.
The victim also showed deputies threatening messages she received from a number associated with Wilson’s family, including statements suggesting he was coming to the house. The victim, who had previously blocked Wilson’s number, told officers she feared for her safety. Although a protective order was referenced in the messages, deputies confirmed no official order was on file.
Law enforcement said the residence has been the subject of multiple calls involving Wilson. He has previously been charged with stalking in relation to the same individuals.
Deputies now plan to seek two new warrants for stalking against Wilson on behalf of both victims. The incident remains under investigation by the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
