WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man from Greenbrier County is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at his home.
According to court documents, State Police were dispatched to Greenbrier Valley Medical Center on Sunday, December 20, about a sexual assault complaint by her boss Mr. James C. Burr. The victim says that Burr sexually assaulted her while they were in a huge room with a bed and tv. The victim stated the incident took place from around 3:30 pm to 5 pm. The victim says Burr grabbed her and put her on the bed, while she kept telling him no, and to please stop.  Burr’s wife, who suffers from MS, was yelling for her to come to help her, who cannot get out of the bed.  Burr continued with taking the woman’s blue jeans off and started to assault her sexually.
There was blood on his shirt, and when police came to search the residence, they noticed the blood on the shirt and took it in for DNA. Â Four DNA swabs were obtained and submitted to the West Virginia State Police Forensic Laboratory.
Burr confessed to police to sexually assaulting the victim at his home on his bed in the living room.
Burr is currently out on bond.
