MONTCALM, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Mercer County man is accused of smashing a pickup truck’s window with a large rock in an incident captured on surveillance video, according to a criminal complaint.
Deputy A.M. Presley responded to a residence on Kettle Street in the Montcalm area on September 5, 2026, after a vehicle owner reported the damage.
The deputy found a damaged 2014 Chevrolet Silverado with a large rock sitting in the driver’s seat. Additional damage was reported to the truck’s body.
Surveillance footage provided to the deputy the following day allegedly showed a man approaching the truck at approximately 1:28 a.m. on September 5. The man walked away, returned with a large rock and put it through the front driver’s-side window, according to the complaint.
About nine minutes later, the man appeared on a front-door camera, identified himself as Harley Sisk and asked to check on a woman inside the residence. Presley said he also recognized Sisk from previous encounters.
The truck’s owner provided a preliminary repair estimate from Ramey Motors Bodyshop totaling $3,709.73.
Based on the footage and repair estimate, Presley requested a warrant charging Sisk with destruction of property valued at more than $2,500.
