MADISON, WV (LOOTPRESS) — Authorities are investigating an alleged assault threat after a disturbing encounter outside a business located at 467 Main Street in Madison.
According to a report filed through the Boone E-911 Center, officers responded to the scene where a victim reported being threatened by a man identified as Michael S. Mills. The incident occurred as the victim and a co-worker exited their vehicle to begin their workday.
The victim stated that Mills — who is reportedly living in a tent across the railroad tracks from the location — made a hand gesture mimicking a gun and yelled, “I’m gonna (gd) kill all of you. I’ve tried to kill myself several times.” The threatening behavior left the victim feeling genuinely afraid for his safety.
The victim also told officers that he had previously seen Mills talking to himself and speaking loudly in public on multiple occasions, behavior that raised additional concern.
This complaint is supported by a taped statement provided by the victim.
