SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A domestic dispute involving a handgun led to the arrest of Chase Dean Keaton after authorities responded to a 911 call in the Hilldale/Talcott area.
At approximately 11:15 a.m., officers were alerted to a possible domestic incident involving a firearm. Dispatch advised that the vehicle involved had stopped near the train tracks in Talcott, and the suspect had fled on foot toward Talcott School.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the female victim, who stated that Keaton struck her in the face while inside the vehicle. Another victim reported that Keaton pulled out a handgun and pointed it at him. Two other witnesses also confirmed seeing the domestic assault.
Following a coordinated search, officers located Keaton near the entrance of the John Henry Tunnel and took him into custody. Video footage from two witnesses, along with statements from victims and bystanders, was collected as evidence.
Keaton is now facing multiple charges related to domestic assault and firearm threats.
