CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after breaking into a Kroger grocery store in Charleston to consume tomato juice and hot fudge.
According to a criminal complaint, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, 34-year-old Brandon J. McKnight, of Foster, WV, was caught on surveillance video using a metal bar to open a rolling door on the loading dock of Kroger located on MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston.
After breaking into the store, McKnight then consumed a portion of a Campbell’s Tomato Juice bottle along with a Mrs. Richardson’s hot fudge jar.
McKnight was found sleeping inside a delivery trailer attached to the loading dock of the store. McKnight was then arrested and charged with Breaking & Entering.
He is currently at South Central Regional Jail on a $2,788 cash-only bond.
