HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On June 6, 2025, at approximately 3:40 AM, Huntington Police responded to a disturbance at a convenience store located at Hal Greer Boulevard and 6th Avenue.
A 39-year-old woman reported that her boyfriend, 37-year-old Terrell Greenlee, had threatened her with a handgun and stolen her car keys during the altercation. Later that morning, at around 11:30 AM, officers located Greenlee driving near the intersection of 16th Street Road and Bennetts Point.
In relation to the earlier incident, police initiated a traffic stop. Initially appearing compliant, Greenlee suddenly fled southbound on 16th Street Road at high speeds, overtaking multiple vehicles in the turn lane. The chase ended when Greenlee crashed into a body shop located at 1144 Melissa Road and attempted to escape on foot.
In response, law enforcement established a perimeter and deployed K9 teams to search the area. Greenlee was apprehended without further incident shortly thereafter. Officers recovered a loaded .40 caliber pistol, a holster, and an empty liquor bottle from Greenlee’s vehicle.
He now faces several serious charges, including felony robbery, brandishing a weapon, fleeing in a vehicle with reckless disregard for safety, fleeing on foot from law enforcement, DUI with a blood alcohol concentration under .150, and felony unlawful possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
