MARMET, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after entering his aunt’s home without permission to use the bathroom and then assaulting her after being told to leave.
According to a criminal complaint, on Thursday, June 27, 2024 police were dispatched to a residence on Summit Dr. in Marmet in reference to a domestic battery incident.
When police arrived on the scene, they met with the victim who stated that her nephew, 53-year-old Kenneth Hudson had come to her residence and when she realized that he was there she told him to leave to which he replied “No, I’m going into the bathroom if you like it or not.”
She stated that she had told him that she was going to call the police at which point Kenneth lunged at her and attempted to grab her phone from her and then grabbed her arms and began to thrash her violently back and forth.
He eventually threw her down and left the residence.
Police observed bruising, blood pooling below the skin, and open lacerations with bleeding on her arms.
According to the complaint, Kenneth could be seen approaching the residence from down the road, where police approached Kenneth.
Officers asked him what happened and he replied “She was f***ing with me! Everyone always f***s with me!”
He also stated that he did put his hands on her, thrash her, then shove her down before leaving.
Police told Kenneth he was being detained to which he replied “No I’m not!”
An officer grabbed his wrist but lost grip due to the amount of sweat on Kenneth, and then fell forward where Kenneth then shoved the officer downward and fell.
Two officers were eventually able to get Kenneth and handcuffs.
He was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence, Obstructing an Officer, Trespassing, and Malicious Assault.
He is currently at South Central Regional Jail on a $3,500 bond.
