HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after firing multiple shots at an RV in Cabell County.
According to a criminal complaint, multiple calls of shots fired came in near the 1200-1400 block of Madison Avenue. The suspect, Kyle Clay called 911 dispatch shortly after stating he had been involved in the incident.
Multiple officers arrived on the scene and Clay admitted to firing at the RV with his rifle, an S&W M&P 15. Clay had discharged a firearm at an RV parked behind 1251 Madison Avenue in Huntington.
17 fired shell casings and 1 live round was found on the scene near the RV. Clay also admitted that he had consumed multiple medications that he was not prescribed, specifically Xanex and Gabapentin as well as being on a methadone program.
Clay also admitted to officers that he had a substance abuse problem.
Clay was taken into custody for prohibited persons with a firearm and discharging a firearm in city limits. He is currently out on bond.
