CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after grabbing a nurse and kicking a police officer.
According to a criminal complaint, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, an officer with the Charleston Police Department responded to CAMC General Hospital following an incident with a patient.

The complaint alleges that 34-year-old William Oaks, of Charleston, grabbed a nurse and attempted to hit them while he was receiving treatment at the hospital.
An officer then responded to the hospital where Oaks then kicked the responding officer in the left leg.
William Oaks was arrested and charged with Battery on an Officer, Battery on EMS, and Fingerprint Refusal.
