MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Mercer County man is facing charges after State Police found he was growing marijuana plants.
On July 17, 2024, members of the West Virginia State Police (WVSP) Princeton Detachment were conducting a marijuana eradication operation in Mercer County. An aerial unit contacted the troopers and directed them to the area of Scenic Ridge Road, where several plants consistent with Marijuana were spotted growing outside the residence.
The troopers arrived on the scene and made contact with a male identified as Darrell Osborne, hereafter referred to as the accused. The accused was then detained.
The troopers collected several marijuana plants around the residence. The accused was placed under arrest and will be charged with four counts of Cultivating Marijuana.
