FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County man is in jail after he became physical with a female because he thought she had been drinking his beer.
According to Fayette County deputies, a physical call was made to 911 about a woman who was distressed and then disconnected the line. When deputies arrived, no one came to the door, so they made a forced entry. Once inside, a female victim was in one room, and the suspect, Stacy Surnear, was in another room.
Surnear said he didn’t come to the door because he knew he would get “locked up.” The female stated that Surnear put her in fear and told her to be quiet.
The victim told deputies that Surnear had arrived home from the store and accused her of drinking his beer. She told him she had not been drinking his beer and was only drinking the beer she bought. Surnear then became physical with the female.
This incident marks the third domestic battery incident, and he is now facing a felony charge.
He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 10,000 dollar bond.
