CROSS LANES, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after using both fists to punch a juvenile in the chest over a speaker.
According to a criminal complaint, officers responded to a residence on Kel Dawn Circle in Cross Lanes on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, after receiving a complaint.
A 13-year-old juvenile alleged that the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Ramiro Israel Alvarado, struck him in the chest with both fists during an argument.
The altercation reportedly began over a disagreement involving a speaker, with the juvenile describing Alvarado’s behavior as antagonistic.
Police noted that the juvenile had two visible red marks on his chest.
The juvenile’s mother and legal guardian were present when he gave his statement but declined to provide further details to law enforcement.
Alvarado was arrested and charged with domestic battery. He is currently out on bond.
