ELKINS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after stealing candy bars and ice cream from Sheetz.
According to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO), on Friday, June 7, 2024, Deputy J. Wolfe of the RCSO responded to a shoplifting incident at the Sheetz store located off Beverly Five Lane near Elkins.
Store employees reported that Marty Price had stolen items from the store.
Deputy Wolfe advised the employees to obtain photographs and a voided receipt of the stolen items.
On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, a member of the store’s management provided Deputy Wolfe with the requested evidence, which included photographs of Price inside the store and a voided receipt.
The stolen items were identified as two Mars 30Z Twix Ice Cream bars and a Twix Share 2.70Z cookie dough, totaling $7.77.
Deputy Wolfe filed a criminal complaint against Price for Petit Larceny.
The complaint was submitted to the Randolph County Magistrate, who issued a warrant for Price’s arrest.
On July 2, 2024, Marty Price was located and arrested on a warrant for shoplifting.
