SPRINGFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after tackling a woman, slashing car tires, and threatening to kill her with a knife.
According to a criminal complaint, on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, police responded to a residence on Graces Cabin Road in Hampshire County for a destruction of property complaint.
Upon arrival, police made contact with one of the victims who explained a series of events that occurred over two days.
The victim stated that the suspect, 43-year-old Justin Mueller came on her property to have a talk with two other individuals on August 26.
When the victim walked out Mueller had a woman tackled to the ground and the victim then went over and hit Muller a “couple times,” according to the complaint.
The next day, on August 27, Mueller returned to the residence when the victim was not home and she received a text from another individual stating Mueller was there “flipping out.”
The victim returned to the residence to find Muller and another individual near the tracks.
The complaint alleges Mueller was screaming holding a knife and threatening to kill the victim. The victim stated she woke up the next day with two of her tires slashed.
Mueller was arrested and charged with Destruction of Property. He is currently at Potomac Highlands Regional Jail on a $2,512 bond.
