HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing charges after allegedly wielding a knife and threatening a student group.
According to authorities, Marshall University Police received an in-person complaint from a group of students that said Kevin Maynard was wielding a knife and threatening them.
When police contacted Maynard, they recovered a kitchen knife from his arm sleeve, a butcher knife, and a small knife from his backpack.
Maynard is charged with five counts of assault and brandishing a deadly weapon. He is being held in Western Regional Jail under a 20,000 dollar bond.
