SCARBRO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is in jail after threatening to stab and kill two family members over drugs.
According to a criminal complaint, on Friday, May 28, 2021, Fayette County Deputies were dispatched to a home in Scarbro regarding Jonathan Wriston brandishing a knife, stating he would kill his father.
When deputies arrived, Jonathan Wriston was detained, and a blue kitchen knife was located on his waistband. Â While speaking to the victim, he said Jonathan was in his brother’s room and asked why he had a bottle of pills in his back pocket? Â The victim grabbed the pills, and Jonathan turned around, pulled a knife on the victim, and stated: “I will kill you and cut you up.”
He also stated that he would kill the victim’s mother.
Jonathan Wriston is charged with brandishing a deadly weapon and domestic assault. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 2,500 dollar bond.
