SMITHERS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Fayette County man is charged with his second domestic battery offense against the same victim.
According to Smithers Police, on April 17, 2023, Joel Querry, 28, of Smithers, asked a female victim to meet him in front of the Sheriff’s Department detachment on Michigan Ave in Smithers.
When they met, Qurery asked the female if she was living with a specific person, and she told him she was talking to him. Querry then slapped the victim on the side of her head and face.
Querry was charged in September of 2021 for domestic battery and found guilty of the charge against the same victim. Querry is charged with second-offense domestic battery. He is currently out on bond.
