CLIFFTOP, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is behind bars after he physically assaulted a female.
On June 17th at approximately 3:45 AM, Fayette County deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at the 629 Clifftop Rd campground in Clifftop, West Virginia.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke to a female victim who reported getting into a physical altercation with her boyfriend, Carl Reynolds. The victim stated she was in her car when Reynolds began beating on the passenger side door, trying to get inside. Reynolds eventually gained entry to the vehicle and immediately punched the victim in the right side of her face with a closed fist. The two then engaged in a brief struggle before the victim was able to get away. Deputies observed the victim had a large, swollen bruise under her right eye.
Reynolds was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
