Man charged after attempting to hit woman with vehicle

NICHOLAS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is charged after a domestic situation.

According to Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department, on Friday, May 31, 2023, Warren Milton Hypes verbally threatened, physically grabbed, and shoved a female victim.  The victim stated that Hypes attempted to hit her with his vehicle when leaving the property.

Hypes is charged with domestic battery and domestic assault.  He is currently in Central Regional Jail under a 5,000 dollar cash-only bond.
