WOOD COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is charged with numerous counts of animal cruelty after authorities discovered malnourished puppies, and a dead puppy in a chair, all while being locked in a hot room with no food or water.
According to State Police, a complaint was received about puppies and other dogs inside a home not being fed and mistreated. When officers assisted the Parkersburg Humane Society, they observed dog poop everywhere and the smell of dog pee.
While walking through the home, they located a puppy in a chair that was deceased for a couple of days. There was no food or water in the home for the puppies.
They also advised that all the dogs were in a locked hot room with no food or water that smelled of ammonia due to the pee and poop.
Six puppies were alive but in critical health; one puppy was dead, along with the possible mom and dad of the puppies. All dogs were transported to an emergency vet, who later notified police that another puppy had died.
Ty Green was charged with nine counts of animal cruelty.
