BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is in jail after shooting a victim several times.
According to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department, on February 16, 2021, deputies responded to the 700 block of Circleview Drive on a reported shooting. The victim stated that an unknown person, later identified as Jonathan Wriston, entered the residence he was visiting and began shooting at him. The victim was struck several times and was later transported to Raleigh General Hospital.
The victim is currently in stable condition, and his injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.
