KIMBALL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man has been arrested for allegedly stealing a backhoe from the Town of Kimball.
According to town officials, a backhoe was stolen from the Town of Kimball in the early morning of April 30th, 2023. An investigation took place with the assistance of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, which resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a Big Jenny address.
The execution of the search warrant resulted in Micahel Powers being arrested and charged with breaking and entering, grand larceny, and felony destruction of property.
The backhoe was recovered.
Powers is out on bond.
