FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Oak Hill man is in jail after striking vehicles as they drove by.
On the morning of Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, West Virginia State Police responded to a 911 call regarding a male individual hitting passing vehicles on Sanger Road in the Hilltop area of Fayette County.
Upon arriving at the scene, I witnessed the accused, Johnny Kinser, drinking from a “bootlegger” liquor bottle. When he saw the police vehicle, he discarded the bottle on the side of the road.
Due to his escalating behavior, which involved screaming and cursing, I had to restrain him with handcuffs. It was evident that he was intoxicated, as he slurred his speech and emitted a strong smell of alcohol. A female victim approached police and reported that the accused had trespassed on her property, stepped onto her porch, and stolen the “bootlegger” bottle from her window sill before leaving. As a result, the accused was arrested for public intoxication, littering, trespassing, and petit larceny.
Since he was not in a condition to be arraigned, he was taken to SRJ to await arraignment.
This incident took place in Fayette County, West Virginia.
