LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is charged after threatening to kill a woman and a dog.
According to Logan County Deputies, on May 10th, they responded to Craddock Fork Road for a brandishing complaint. When deputies arrived, the victim stated that she was in her room asleep when she heard her dog barking. The victim said that when she woke up, she saw Johnny Craddock standing at the foot of her bed with a small pistol pointed at her dog and stated he would kill the dog. The victim said Craddock went back to his room.
At some point, the victim went to the bathroom, and when she came out, Craddock followed her to her bedroom, pulled the gun a second time, pointed it at her face, and told her he was going to kill the dog and her. The victim told Craddock to leave, but he went back to his room.
Officers said when they arrived on the scene, Craddock acted unruly and refused to cooperate. They found several firearms at the home.
Craddock is charged with wanton endangerment, domestic assault, and brandishing a firearm.
