WHEELING, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Wheeling man faces an array of felony charges following a domestic incident on Thursday evening.
The Wheeling Police Department reports that authorities were called to Sligar Avenue around 5:37 p.m. on Thursday following a 911 report of a male fighting two females and issuing several threats. The male is also said to have struck one of the women and attempted to set fire to a residence.
Christopher Freeze – 33 years old of Wheeling, WV –  was arrested in relation to this incident and had been charged with seven felonies – three counts of kidnapping, two counts of assault during the commission of a felony, one count of domestic battery (3rd offense) and one count of attempt to commit arson.
Notably, Freeze was reportedly out on bond at the time of the incident. The bond originated with two previous domestic battery arrests incurred by Freeze in May and June, respectively.
Freeze was transported to Northern Regional Jail following his arrest. Court arraignment proceedings are currently pending.
