DUNBAR, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man was charged with child abuse after forcibly holding an infant’s head down against a mattress in the crib.
Wood County Sheriff’s Department said that the child’s father, Michael Eugene Mallory, forcibly held his infant child by the head and neck with his hand and used his other hand to hold the infant’s hands and arms together while pressing the infant’s head into a mattress in a baby crib.
The video showed the infant’s face, neck, and majority of the head being pressed by the father. The infant was screaming and appeared to be struggling.
Mallory was charged with child abuse.
