MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is accused of sexually abusing an underage female victim.
According to a criminal complaint, Anthony Dube sexually abused a girl when she was 12-year-old and again when she was 15-years-old. On February 25, 2021, a forensic interview was conducted, and the underage detailed that Dube showed her pornography on his cellular phone, asking her if she thought it was her mother. The victim described the videos as adult men and women. The victim disclosed that at age 12, Dube started asking her if she wanted to have sex.
The victim said the first time it occurred was when she was home alone with Dube came into her bedroom, pulled her shorts down, and had sex. The second time occurred when the victim was 15-years-old, while they were hunting. They went into a shack, and he had sex with the victim again.
Dube is charged with two counts of third-degree sexual assault and two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian, or person in a child’s position of trust.
He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 100,000 dollar bond.
