BEAVER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An inmate has died at Southern Regional Jail.
According to Raleigh County Prosecuting Attorney Ben Hatfield, the death at Southern Regional Jail occurred during the first week of March. Â Hatfield says no foul play was suspected, but he confirmed it was a man.
Last year, 13 deaths were reported at Southern Regional Jail. Â Also, several inmates have overdosed.
Multiple lawsuits have been filed against Southern Regional Jail.
