OCEANA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man has been found dead near the Speedway in Oceana.
According to the Oceana Police Department (OPD), on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, the OPD, along with STAT EMS and the Oceana Fire Department responded to a DOA near Speedway in Oceana.
A male was confirmed deceased on the scene.

The OPD is still waiting on an official identification of the male, in addition to the results of the autopsy report from the State’s Medical Examiner’s Office.
The investigation is considered open, according to police.
The Oceana Police Department encourages the community to come forward with any information.
Police say any additional information will released as it is gathered.
