PARKERSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man was injured in a violent assault and was struck with a pipe, leaving him with a fractured cheekbone.
On September 14, 2024, officers responded to an assault at the Sheetz located at 1102 7th Street after being flagged down by staff. A male victim was found bleeding from the left side of his face and reported being struck in the head and ear with a pipe. The assault occurred in the area of East Street and Jeanene Street.
A witness confirmed the attack, stating that he saw an argument between the victim and Jordan Stweart before Stewart struck the victim with a blunt red object. The object was a pipe.
EMS personnel arrived at the scene and expressed concern about the severity of Allman’s injuries, noting significant swelling on the left side of his face and a potentially fractured cheekbone. The victim received medical attention.
Stewart was arrested and charged.
