RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man was arrested after fleeing police and leading them on a high-speed chase.
On April 22, 2024, Justin Scott Keyes was traveling in the MacArthur area at a high rate of speed. Deputies attempted to catch up with Keyes, but he started accelerating. Keyes turned on several roads and ran multiple stop lights.
At one point, Keyes jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot. Deputies deployed K9 Ajax to apprehend the suspect, which was a success.
Keyes was a driver, but his license is currently revoked due to a DUI 2nd offense. He is now charged with driving revoked for DUI and fleeing police. He is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 5,000 dollar bond.
