DANVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A woman is facing allegations after a late-night domestic incident in Boone County left a man fearing for his safety.
At approximately 1:40 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to a report of a domestic altercation at 58 Ireland Circle in Danville. Deputy R.T. Frye with the Boone County Sheriff’s Department arrived on scene and spoke with the victim, who claimed his girlfriend, identified as Kayla Bowman, had threatened to physically assault him and destroy his home.
The victim also told authorities that Bowman attempted to strike him several times during the encounter, which reportedly left him in fear for his safety and well-being.
