POINT PLEASANT, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Mason County man was sentenced to prison on Thursday for violation of the condition of his sex offender supervision.
The sentencing serves as the latest in an array of legal issues amassed over the years by 36-year-old Michael A. Eads, who has previously been charged for probation violation, burglary, and sexual assault among other offenses.
According to the Mason County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Eads was sentenced in Mason County Circuit Court by the Honorable Lora A. Dyer for violations of his sex offender supervision. The sentencing came on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
The sentencing itself will entail a determinate 10 years served in the custody of the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation of West Virginia. The precise nature of the violation in question has not been explicitly stated at the time of writing.
