BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman faces charges after stabbing a man at a Raleigh County residence on Tuesday.
According to reports from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, deputies with the department responded to the Canterbury Drive area of Beckley in relation to reports of a stabbing which had occurred.
Upon arriving at the purported scene of the incident, deputies were met at the door by the suspect in the investigation, Angela Hubbard.
Inside the residence, the victim of the stabbing, David Hubbard, was found inside the bedroom having suffered multiple stab wounds.
David Hubbard was transported to Raleigh General Hospital to receive treatment for the injuries he had sustained.
The perpetrator of the act, Angela Hubbard, was taken into custody by authorities before being transported to Beckley Appalachian Regional Healthcare to undergo evaluation.
Angela Hubbard was subsequently transported to Southern Regional Jail, and currently faces charges of Attempted Murder.
The condition of the victim, David Hubbard, is unclear at this time. The release from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office does not specify the relationship between the victim and perpetrator, though the two share a surname.
