MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges after stealing a Hershey’s giant-sized cookies and cream bar, Totino’s pizza rolls, a beverage, and a powered foot file at CVS.
According to the Montgomery Police Department, Kevin Cook, 29, was caught on a security camera at CVS in Montgomery of Fayette County on three separate occasions stealing items.
In May 2023, Cook was seen entering CVS and concealing a Hershey’s giant-sized cookies and cream bar under his sweatshirt. On that same date, Cook also hid Totino’s pizza rolls under his sweatshirt. Cook and his girlfriend were seen paying for ramen noodles on that date.
On a second date, Cook entered the same CVS store and concealed a beverage in his hoodie pocket.
On a third date, Cook stole a powered foot file and other unseen items.
Police say that his girlfriend was on the lookout and tried to keep the cashier’s attention so that Cook could steal the items. The total value of all items stolen was around 70 dollars.
Cook is charged with petit larceny and two counts of shoplifting. He is already out on bond. Currently, there are no jail or court records of his girlfriend.
