HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities responded to a domestic battery incident on 3rd Ave, at approximately 8:53 p.m. Officers Cpl. Rowsey, Officer Lange, and another responding officer arrived at the scene following a report of an altercation.
According to the victim, she and Willie were arguing about rekindling their relationship when the situation escalated. She stated that as she attempted to shower, Willie entered the bathroom and placed his hands around her neck, strangling her to the point where she could not breathe. Officers observed visible redness on the victim’s upper chest, consistent with her account of the incident.
Authorities took Willie into custody on charges of domestic battery.
