RONCEVERTE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges after allegedly getting mad at his girlfriend for stealing his dope and attempting to destroy an air conditioner to enter the home.
According to State Police, on July 24, 2023, troopers responded to the Cedar Knoll Trailer Park after a domestic call was placed. The officer was informed that John Michael Forrester Jr. was on the scene, causing a disturbance and attempting to destroy an air conditioner to make entry into the trailer.
Troopers found Forrester walking down the road. He told the officers he wasn’t in a fight but was yelling at his girlfriend for stealing his dope. Forrester told police he had nowhere to go tonight and hoped he would go to jail. When officers attempted to arrest Forrester, he started to resist.
The witnesses told police that they were scared due to the suspect yelling at them and trying to break the air conditioner off the window in an attempt to enter the trailer.
The officers determined the value of the window air unit was between 150-300 dollars.
Forrester was charged with two counts of domestic assault, destruction of property, and obstructing an officer. He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 4,000 dollar bond.
