Man threatens to kill his brother over drying his clothes

OCEANA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A dispute over drying clothes lands one man in jail.

According to Oceana Police, on Sunday, June 27, 2021, at around 7: 20 pm, police were called to a domestic in progress at Ford’s Trailer Park.   The victim told police that he and his brother got into an argument over clothes being dried.

The suspect, Rodney Allen Walker, told the victim that if his clothes weren’t dry, he would kill the victim.  The victim attempted to leave, and Walker picked up a 2X4 and followed the victim.  Walker was swinging the board, saying he would damage the victim’s vehicles and kill the victim if his clothes weren’t dry. At that point, the victim called the police.

Rodney Walker faces charges of domestic assault and brandishing.  He is currently in Southern Regional Jail under a 1,000 dollar cash-only bond.
