WILLIAMSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) -The U.S. Marshals Southern District of West Virginia Cops United Felony Fugitive Enforcement Division (CUFFED) Task Force has apprehended Christopher Eric Back, 48, of Williamson, WV.
Back was wanted by the Columbus Police Department (Ohio) for Attempted Murder. Back was taken into custody by U.S Marshals and the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office on Pritchard Street in Williamson, WV, at approximately 7 PM.
Back’s warrant stems from a stabbing that occurred on December 10, 2023, in Columbus, OH. It is alleged that Back entered his ex-girlfriend’s residence, when she was not home. Police say that Back then threatened to “kill” her brother, Jaron Harrison (victim), who was sleeping in the house at the time of the incident. It is alleged that he got into a physical altercation with the victim, stabbing him 17 times in his neck, chest, and other areas. The Victim was hospitalized in critical condition.
After the stabbing, Back fled back to West Virginia to evade apprehension. Back is incarcerated at the South Western Regional Jail, awaiting extradition back to Ohio.
