HUTTONSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man faces charges following a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday which resulted in a roadway closure along US Route 219.
Reports from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office indicate that, on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 deputies responded to US 219 Seneca Trail near Bell Crouch Road regarding a reported vehicle rollover accident involving a Ford F-350 truck.
Upon arrival at the scene, deputies indeed observed an overturned F-350 in the roadway. This resulted in a subsequent roadway closure.
Authorities were able to identify the driver of the vehicle as Robert Holsberry.
Notably, Holsberry’s drivers license was revoked at the time of the accident for DUI.
As a result, the driver was later arrested and transported to Tygart Valley Jail.
Valley Head Fire Department, Randolph County EMS, and Mill Creek Fire Department also responded and assisted on the scene.
