WELCH, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Several McDowell County agencies are teaming up to host a Halloween event for families and residents in October.
The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, McDowell County Commission and McDowell County Prosecutor’s Office will host the event on Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event will be held inside the McDowell County Commission building, located at 600 Stewart Street in Welch.
Organizers say the event will feature candy, games and other activities for people of all ages.
The participating agencies are inviting residents to attend for what they describe as a safe and fun Halloween experience.
