PARKERSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – McDowell County Sheriff James Muncy and Chief Deputy Martin traveled to Parkersburg on Friday to take part in a special swearing-in ceremony for DJ Daniel.
Sheriff Muncy administered the oath, officially making Daniel a Reserve Deputy with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Department.

Daniel has now been sworn in as an officer in more than 4,000 law enforcement agencies across the United States.
Sheriff Muncy said he was honored to be part of the event and expressed his gratitude to the Parkersburg Police Department for hosting the ceremony.
“The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office is also excited and honored to welcome DJ to our family,” the department said in a statement.
