MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Mercer County Schools have announced changes to the instructional calendar due to multiple snow days taken earlier in the academic year.
As of February 12, 2025, the district has converted eight snow days into instructional days to ensure students meet required learning hours.
The following snow days have been rescheduled:
- November 22, 2024 → May 27, 2025
- January 6, 2025 → May 28, 2025
- January 7, 2025 → May 29, 2025
- January 8, 2025 → May 30, 2025
- January 9, 2025 → June 2, 2025
- January 10, 2025 → June 3, 2025
- February 11, 2025 → April 25, 2025
- February 12, 2025 → April 24, 2025
These adjustments mean students will now be required to attend school on these days.
