MERCER COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Mercer County Commission is inviting residents to take part in a community litter cleanup event scheduled for today, Monday, March 23.
The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. along Glenwood Park Road as part of the county’s #KeepMercerClean program.
Organizers are encouraging volunteers of all ages to participate in the effort to help improve the appearance of the area and promote community pride.
Volunteers will work together to collect trash and dispose of waste properly during the event.
Officials say no prior experience is necessary, and community members are welcome to join at any time during the cleanup.
The effort is part of an ongoing initiative to encourage residents to take an active role in maintaining a clean and attractive environment.
