Carlie Raye scored 18 points as Pineville Middle beat Herndon 44-19 Monday night at Herndon.
Carlee Lane also scored in double figures for the Minutemen while Evelyn McKinney and Kaylee Hodges led Herndon with six points each.
Pineville improves to 2-1 and will host county foe Mullens on Wednesday.

The Pineville boys improved to 3-0 with a 55-29 win at Herndon Monday evening.
Cole Laxton led the way for the Minutemen with 15 points while Brayden Hoosier (12 points) and Braxton Morgan (10) points also scored in double figures for the visitors.
Pineville will play at Mullens on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
